- For poetry, fiction, or non-fiction, my rate is 4 cents per word.
Developmental Editing
Developmental editing for academic work includes line edits, proofreading for cohesive argument, and guidance on evidence, sources, and outline.
Developmental editing for literature includes line edits, proofreading for story continuity and structure, as well as guidance on character, storylines, and pacing.

About Me
With thirty years of editing experience, you'll rarely see an eye like mine. I hold a BA in Creative Writing, an MA in Literature, and a PhD in Philosophy (A.B.D. May 2026.)
I currently provide editing services for two academic journals, and have edited for three literary journals.
